BraveNewTalent CEO Lucian Tarnowski To Speak Thursday During The Close It Summit in Washington

Presented by Innovate + Educate, The Close It Summit is designed to explore new talent pathways to close the skills gap between employers and job seekers, and bridge the opportunity divide, and will take place November 5 - 7, 2013 at The Capitol Hilton in Washington, D.C.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be speaking at The Close It Summit,” said Tarnowski. “The skills gap is a subject on which I’ve been passionate about since childhood, and around which I’ve launched a social learning technology company [BraveNewTalent] and also run a vocational skills charity in India [Take Heart India]. Scheduled for day three of The Close It Summit, Tarnowski will deliver the keynote address, ‘The Human Potential Movement: The Convergence Of Talent & Technology’, where he will outline the convergence of talent and technology, and how businesses can directly bridge the skills gap and develop talent.

Directly following his keynote, Tarnowski will lead the panel discussion, ‘A Brave New World: The Future Of Technology, Education, And Training’, which will explore how companies and educators are adapting new models for self-paced online training and assessments. The panelists include senior executives from Viridis Learning, Bluedrop Performance Learning, Excelsior College, College for America at Southern New Hampshire University, and Penn Foster.

In addition to BraveNewTalent, The Close It Summit will feature speakers from organizations including Alcoa, Manpower, GE, Lockheed Martin, Siemens, The Huffington Post, and U.S. News & World Report. The Close It Summit attendees are scheduled to include Human Resources professionals, learning and development innovators, and other professionals focused on addressing the skills gap between job seekers and employers.
