ANNA morphs, and the winner is…

Our latest Challenge is closed and was a success. The search for original methods to approach business customers for a designer has brought to light a number of astonishing proposals.

Nov. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- It was an exciting challenge. Admitting the start was somewhat slow and for this we have to look at home having been a bit generic in formulating the question, not giving so precise hints how an ANNA morphose is technically created. However in the end this is what open innovation is all about: Let your ideas freely run! Anyway the BrainUser got into their stride quick enough – therefore it is sad that the challenge is over now.

The evaluation of the ideas was a challenge by its own for all participants and this is the reason why it took so long until we could announce the winner.

There were so many suggestions, which on the first view seemed not so spectacular, but are nonetheless extremely precious and could have ended up on the winner’s podium.

But as it is in a competition unfortunately, not everyone can take the lead and the type of award did not permit a further splitting. So the BrainSourcer team was happy not to have the final decision but Silke Kahl who was spoilt for choice.

As usual the criteria were, a simple and fast possibility to implement the idea and transform it into a real innovation. As already described in the challenge criteria the effort – time and cost – had not to be exaggerated and off course the originality was an important factor.

The above said led to 2 winning ideas, sharing first place: Stephan Meier with ‚Guck-Karton-Schachtel: Annamorph-Box‘ and  Peter Klymiuk’s ‚Schneekugel‘

Silke Kahl loved ‘Schneekugel‘ because of its reasonable cost structure, the awakening of emotions and its great fit to the ANNA morphose concept. The decisive factor was the proposal to use a 3D printing method.

With the ‘Guck-Karton’ an ANNA morphose is integrated in an ideal and easy way, it can be mailed perfectly, it is build up quickly and furthermore the LED lightening idea stoked as it fits perfectly to the entire product line and light effects represent a great part of the ANNA concept.

To conclude it remains to mention, that Silke Kahl and obviously the BrainSourcer team were absolutely enthusiastic about all those wonderful ideas that broadened our mind. To all BrainUsers, who taxed their brains in such a great way, a huge thank-you.
