Nov. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Flagler Habitat for Humanity ReStore announces another OVERSTOCK EXTRAVAGANZA to be held Saturday on November 16, 2013 from 7:30 am to 1 pm at 15B Hargrove Grade (Hargrove Industrial Park) in Palm Coast. Thanks to the generosity of this community in 2012, the store is overflowing and the storage facility is also stacked to the walls. Cash, debit and credit cards will be accepted in payment. No checks. Delivery is available for a charge.

The sale will include furniture, appliances, wall art, china, collectibles, household goods, building materials, and yard and car care items. Furniture items include sofas, easy chairs, office chairs, hospital chairs, mobile cabinets, desk units, kitchen cabinets, and kitchen countertops with sinks, occasional tables, china cabinets, entertainment centers, art, antiques, appliances, upholstered sofas and chairs, dining rooms, bedrooms, doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, office furniture, electronics, a hot tub, a small sailboat with trailer.

This sale gives shoppers the opportunity to browse through our excess inventory and select items to complete their home or office.

This year our plans provide for homes for five deserving families building new homes in Flagler County, following twenty years of building the American Dream for 80 families. Proceeds from this sale will help with this goal.

As with the contribution of goods, Habitat for Humanity depends heavily on volunteers. Those who work at the store sort clean and price the donations that come in, fixing any that need repair. Volunteers also provide customer assistance in the store and work the truck crew, picking up donations and delivering purchases. Still others assist in various office functions, and a large group works on the most visible, and appreciated, effort and the reason for our existence – the construction of new homes for those in need. None of this effort would be possible without the great Habitat volunteers and more are always needed.
