Art Page Gets Over 1000 Viewers

Nov. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- If you ever do a Google search for contemporary art for sale fineartamerica.com will come up in the list. That is why Catherine Rose Chiara finally chose to sell her art through the site. Today she reached 1006 viewers with a goal of reaching 10,000.

So far she has listed 33 pieces the last one being an oil painting titled Woman Lounging which is 16” x 20”. So far Woman Lounging far has had 54 viewers, the last viewer being from New York, New York. Other viewers have been from Beverly Hills, California, Seattle, Washington, White Plains, New York, Como, Italy, Corpus Christi, Texas, Kiez, Germany, Mountain View, California, Vineland, New Jersey, San Francisco, California, Longmont, Colorado, Taipei, Taiwan, Denver, Colorado, Campbell, California, Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas. Today around 3:30 pm EST Catherine reached her 1006 viewer.

Anyone in sales knows it is a numbers game. Catherine consulted an art business group on linkedin.com about turning viewers into buyers. One answer came from Don Stewart, Chief Visual Humorist at DS Art, LLC. Don said the answer was get 10,000 people to view my page on fineartamerica. How to do this is to add vibrant content to fineartamerica.com, post on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or pay for adwords. Even Cindy Edelstein from jewelersresource.com says it’s not about making the work 20% prettier, it’s about getting 20% more sales.  Again how does one do this?  By making more connection, more relationships, identifying qualified buyers and showing them the work. Even in the past Catherine had a couple sales where people just handed her the money and she didn’t even have to do anything other than create the work and wait for the right viewer.
