Putting the "Happy" in "Happy Halloween"

American Property Group Makes Halloween at The Florida Center Even Sweeter

SARASOTA, Fla. - Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Sarasota, FL - Oct. 31, 2013 - American Property Group donated pumpkins, candy and other sweet treats to the children at The Florida Center for Early Childhood in Sarasota. Donations included pumpkins for each classroom at the center, as well as bags of candy totaling close to 20 pounds. The donation was given on behalf of the entire team at the Commercial Real Estate firm, wanting to give children something to smile and be excited about this Halloween.

"It's all about giving the kids something to be happy about" says Adam Seidel, Commercial Specialist at American Property Group . "Halloween is a fun holiday and we wanted to share that with the kids and give them something we know they would enjoy. Seeing their reaction to the bags of candy proved that we accomplished our mission while showing our support for the outstanding programs provided by The Florida Center."

The Florida Center for Early Childhood is a nationally accredited non-profit organization, providing prevention and early intervention services to children and their families at risk for academic, social and economic failure. Their mission of "Building strong families ... one child at a time," is evident in their achievements including a 4-star rating for their early childhood development program. Primarily working with children from birth through eight years, the center's programs serve more than 4,000 children and families annually, including counseling, education and therapy. The Florida Center also offers investment opportunities for donor's wishing to invest in the future education and well-being of children in their care. "For every $1.00 invested in early childhood, more than $8.00 is yielded in future workforce productivity, increased career achievement and public safety," says Ward Dement, Chairperson of The Florida Center.
