Founder of Optos to provide keynote address at Annual Healthcare Technologies Awards and Lecture

Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Taking place on 21 November 2013 in London, UK, the lecture will highlight the process Anderson underwent to develop new medical technology and provide an explanation into how it was brought to commercial success.

This is a unique opportunity to hear at first hand the complications and implications surrounding the development of new technology and how to overcome these difficulties to produce a commercially viable product.
In addition to the lecture, this year’s awards ceremony will see three honours assigned to student candidates within Biomedical
Engineering for their contribution and commitment to the field. The Dennis Hill, J.A. Lodge and William James award provide our outstanding engineering prospects a chance to become recognised as we anticipate their future influence within this sector.

In attendance will be around 100 professionals from industry and academia in the Healthcare Technologies field. The evening will therefore provide attendees with great networking opportunities as well as hearing from a successful tech entrepreneur
