Rock By The Sea releases Holiday CD, hosts Benefit Concert for Cancer Charities

Atlanta, Ga. (Oct. 29, 2013) – Rock By The Sea is at it again, raising awareness and money to assist cancer research and treatment. For the fourth year, Rock By The Sea is delighted to continue their tradition of music, holiday joy and charity with the release of A Rock By The Sea Christmas :: Volume Four, including both original and traditional holiday tracks. But Rock By The Sea is not stopping there. They are also putting on a charity concert event featuring artists from A Rock By The Sea Christmas past and present.

The CD is available for purchase now and includes contributions by Matthew Perryman Jones and Hannah Miller, Besides Daniel, an original track written exclusively for the CD by Stroke 9, MELODIME, Paris Luna, a live song from Fred LeBlanc (of Cowboy Mouth) and John Taglieri along with several other artists.

“When the organization came to us for a Christmas song, we were extremely excited,” said Luke Esterkyn of Stroke 9. “We've always wanted to try our hand at one, and may have created an instant modern classic. We support Rock By The Sea in everything they do, and are delighted to help the continued raising of money for all their charities.”

The charity concert will take place at Vinyl in Atlanta, GA on Friday, December 6^th.  Headlining the show is Saints of Valory, whose song “Winter Lights” was featured on last year’s release.

“We have been a part of the Rock By The Sea family for over two years now and are stoked to be playing in Atlanta for their annual charity Christmas show. It’s going to be a great time and we hope to raise a lot of money for kids with cancer,” said Stephen Buckle of Saints of Valory.

Playing with Saints of Valory at the charity concert, and also featured on A Rock By The Sea Christmas :: Volume Four, are The Well Reds, The Hot Hearts, Besides Daniel, Jessica Campbell, and Noel Stephen & the Darlings.

Jeremy Ezell of The Well Reds also expressed his enthusiasm for working with Rock By The Sea, saying, “A Christmas album to bring some cheer and help donate a few dollars to those in need sounded like an amazing idea to us. We thought a classic pop jazz arrangement of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” would be fun. We are honored to lend our voices to this wonderful effort.”
