DENVER - Oct. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Alpaca Marketing Coach Julie Wassom will be the featured speaker on Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Quarterly Membership Meeting of the Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies (ABR). The meeting runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the National Western Club, 4655 Humboldt Ct. in Denver, and is open to members and guests.

Wassom is the owner of Grand Champion Marketing in Aurora (www.juliewassom.com) and the author of a collection of books called “The Alpaca Marketing Success Library.” Her presentation will run from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and will cover topics such as what you should you do when your marketing is not working, and the difference between strategic marketing and shotgun marketing. The seminar is for alpaca breeders who already have a good handle on basic marketing, yet want to know how to get the greatest return on their efforts to attract buyers in their target market for sales.

Participants in the Nov. 10 meeting will get the answers to many more questions as they learn how to market beyond business cards and website basics, select marketing actions that will increase their success at drawing prospects to their farm, and be more effective both online and offline in generating qualified leads for the sales of their alpacas and breedings.

“Our meetings offer alpaca owners and potential owners important information as well as the chance to network with others in the industry,” says Becky Zierer, ABR president. “We will also have alpaca auction information at this meeting.”

Cost to attend the Nov. 10 ABR Quarterly Meeting is $15, which includes morning coffee and an Italian buffet lunch. Reservations can be made by calling 970-586-5589 or online (https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?...).

Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies had its beginnings in Colorado in 1994 and in 1996, became a member of the national association, AOBA. The purpose of ABR is to support its members through education, marketing events and public awareness. For more information, visit www.alpacabreeders.org.
