3rd Annual Pretty in Pink Luncheon

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Oct. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The YOU CAN WOMEN IN BUSINESS held its 3^rd Annual Pretty in Pink luncheon on October 27, 2013.  Dr. Maribel U. Lockwood, of the Women’s Imaging Center provided women and men with information to arm themselves with awareness of the methods to detect and screen oneself for breast cancer and what the latest and greatest research results are.

The event was held at the Southside Arts Complex, located at 2525 South Monroe Street, in Tallahassee, Florida and helped participants learn more about Breast Cancer and much more.  Attendants listened to a moving spotlight survivor story by way of the poetry of Ms. Yashika Cherry.   Zumba was in the air and provided the ladies with a taste of exercise and fitness to match.   Door prizes and lunch was provided by the wonderful Jason's Deli.
