Torqeedo powers launch of new Nissan Note

The impressive stunt - made to look as if the vehicle was driving on water - was thanks to Torqeedo’s silent but powerful engine, which powered the Note boat. Inside the car were two members of the UK Olympic Rowing team, who appeared to be driving the vessel, showcasing the Note’s 180 degree doors!

Nissan chose Torqeedo’s Cruise engine to power the stunt, Will Bicknell of Epic Travel, organiser of the event, says, “We needed to have an engine powerful enough to push the Note boat across the water, without contravening the environmental restrictions on the lake.
