ST. LOUIS - Oct. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- CLEAN, a fast growing company that serves as a commercial launderer for industry and healthcare, announces the opening of its new facility in Tulsa with at 1223 N. 105 E. Avenue.

The new facility is over 8,000 square feet. It will employ around 10 persons at the outset with room for expansion.

“We are excited to open our new facility and the potential for growth in the Tulsa region,” said Brian Hagler, CLEAN’s Vice-President, General Manager, for Oklahoma.

“CLEAN looks forward to expanding our services in healthcare, industrial, executive and casual workplace apparel, and other specialized programs.”

The Tulsa ribbon cutting coincides with the 75th anniversary of CLEAN’s founding in 1938 in St. Louis and is now in its third generation of this family owned business. CLEAN continues to succeed and serve as a leader in the industry after seven-and-one-half decades.

CLEAN’S continued growth in the market are an outgrowth of what founder Morris Lazaroff believed were the core values of the company, “Make The Customer Love You.”

The company which began as Clean Coverall Supply Company then changed to Clean The Uniform Company has been able to change with the times. Where St. Louis once had a very strong industrial base in the automotive market that base has changed and CLEAN has more than kept up with the changing landscape.

While certainly not abandoning their industrial roots CLEAN has expanded their products and services to new market segments to include healthcare, restaurants, retail, and the gaming industry.

Customer demand has buoyed CLEAN’s expansion which now includes facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Joplin, MO, Columbia, MO, O’Fallon, MO, Jackson, MO, Highland, IL, Effingham, IL and a new healthcare laundering facility in St. Louis.

Part of that continued growth includes providing the upmost in Green business practices. This is an outgrowth of the new “third generation” of CLEAN ownership who believe strongly in sustainability.

CLEAN is the only industrial launderer that is ISO 9001 certified in all facets of their company. This includes everything they do. All facilities are ISO 14001 certified and meet the highest environmental standards. Their St. Louis healthcare facility is also HLAC certified. By continuing to pursue ISO standards they are able to analyze and identify core areas that may need to be adjusted to meet their high standards of operation.

Specifically their Green practices include reselling only environmentally friendly chemicals, using fuel-efficient cars with efficient routing practices, electronic invoicing, recycling programs, low-energy lighting, on-line garment tracking, garment scanning and on-demand printing.
