Mile High Veterinary Hospital Offering Extended Hospital Hours in Aurora, CO

AURORA, Colo. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Aurora, CO premier animal hospital, Mile High Veterinary Hospital, is now offering extended hospital hours beginning on November 2, 2013. The Aurora veterinary hospital will now be providing veterinary care seven-days-a-week to meet the needs of their clients and patients. These extended hours will allow families to visit on Saturday and Sunday to seek pet emergency care every day of the week, as well as pick up prescription diets and get medications for their pets.

As a part of Mile High Veterinary Hospital’s ongoing commitment to their clients, they have also welcomed Dr. Cara Edelstein to their team. Since earning her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Edelstein has completed a year-long internship at the prestigious Tufts University in Massachusetts where she delved into a variety of veterinary fields including internal medicine, surgery, and critical care. She also has a variety of special interests including internal medicine, gastroenterology, dermatology, pain management, and preventative wellness care for pets of all ages.

When asked about the change, Mile High Veterinary Hospital medical director Dr. Waskow says: "After 11 years of being one of only a few veterinary hospitals open on Sundays, our client base has grown to the point where we needed to extend our hours to include both Saturdays and Sundays.  We appreciate that the Aurora and Parker communities have recognized the great care that our team provides.  We never like to turn people away when they're worried about their pets, and we found that limited weekend hours were not meeting our clients' and patients' needs.  Now that Dr. Edelstein has joined our team, we are proud that we can provide care 7 days a week, reducing the need for our patients to be treated at an emergency center."
