VSC Extends RTCA DO-178C to µC/OS-II™

In a 07/19/2013 Advisory Circular (AC) 20-115C, the FAA officially recognized DO-178C, cancelling DO-178B. The AC states that DO-178C is not mandatory and it is not a regulation. None-the-less DO-178C is now the de facto means of demonstrating compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations concerning software aspects of airborne systems and equipment certification.

VSC will maintain its existing set of DO-178B products for customers with DO-178B projects in process.
