London Business School alumni shortlisted for entrepreneurial award

Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Nitzan Yudan MBA2011, the co-founder and CEO of Flat Club, is one of four finalists for the 2013 MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award, organised by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).

Nitzan, who was part of London Business School's Incubator Programme for the academic year 2011/2012, launched Flat Club in November 2010.

The platform aims to "bring trust" to short-term renting by connecting people when they want to rent out their property or need somewhere to stay. The company employs 13 people at its London headquarters and currently has 40,000 members.

London Business School's Incubator Programme allows students to launch their business idea straight from their course, enjoying use of the School's facilities and a package of start-up support, including a cash injection and access to training and workshops.

The other three finalists for the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award are Simo Dragicevic, nominated for his gaming industry data company Bet Buddy; Harald Trautsch for his venture Everbill, an online business support platform; and Mignon Hardie, who created the Fundza Literacy Trust to improve literacy among young South Africans.

Andrew Main Wilson, the CEO of AMBA, said: "The submissions reinforce yet again the invaluable entrepreneurial skills that are taught in an MBA, and that business schools with AMBA-accredited MBA programmes are truly forward-thinking and best equipped to create the global leaders of tomorrow."

The winner will be announced on 6 November 2013 at the Association of MBAs' Awards and Gala Dinner at the Montcalm Hotel in London.
