Briscoe Protective Systems Inc.Kick Off “Just One Life” Program at Centereach Fire Department

CENTEREACH, N.Y. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Who:          Bob Williams, President, Briscoe Protective Systems Inc, Denise Rueda, Program Director, Briscoe Protective Systems Inc., Derek S. Anderson, Chief, Centereach Fire Department Local residents

What:          Briscoe Protective Systems Inc., along with the Centereach Fire Department, will kick off the “Just One Life” program. They will be joined by staff members from Briscoe, who will distribute carbon monoxide and smoke detectors to residents in need.

As a community service, staff members from Briscoe will install the detectors for local residents who are otherwise unable to do so due to age, physical handicap or need. The fire department will determine which residents will require a fire safety device. Briscoe will acquire the devices for their recipients, either through donations or by themselves.

This coincides with the fire department’s Fire Prevention Open House. Those in attendance will learn about fire prevention and what to do if a house fire occurs and how to keep your family safe.

         9 South Washington Avenue

Directions:      From the East: LIE to Exit 62 (County Road 97/Nicolls Road/Stony Brook/Blue Point). Stay on CR 97 for approximately 3 miles. Take the ramp to Middle Country Road (Route 25 W) towards Smithtown. Stay on Middle Country Rd. for 1.1 miles. Make a left onto South Washington Ave. Firehouse will be 0.1 mile down the road on the right-hand side.

From the West: LIE to Exit 61 (Patchogue-Holbrook Rd) toward Patchogue/Holbrook/CR 19. Stay on the service road for approximately one-third of a mile, then turn left onto Holbrook Rd. Stay on Holbrook Rd. for 2.1 miles, then make a left onto Robert Drive. After 0.2 mile, take the first right onto South Washington Ave. Firehouse will be 0.7 mile up the road on the left-hand side.
