Brooklyn's Hit Single LIGHT IT UP Breaks Into The Elite Rotation at Music Choice

DETROIT - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- It is very rare that a independant artist has any success with releasing a national single to radio and stores without the backing of a major record label.  But Harmony Soul Entertainment and its new Hip Hop Sensation Brooklyn Sarden is breaking all odds with the Release of Light It Up!

Reigning from Detroit but named Brooklyn in respect to his Dad's best friend from the famous Borough, this teen aged emcee maybe new to the national radio world, but he is definitely no stranger to the music industry.  "I was really born into this!" says Brooklyn who is the son of Music Industry Exec Yoni Sarden.  Brooklyn wrote and recorded his first single at the young age of 10 years old, against his mother's wishes.  "She didn't really want me to be an entertainer, she kept telling me that I'd make a great lawyer because I had the gift of gab", the teen sensation said laughing.  But he had different plans for his mastery of words.  He wrote and recorded "What's My Name" in his mother's home production studio by himself to a track produced by #1 Billboard charting producer Marcellus "Handz Down" Dawson and sent it in to a local radio station for consideration and his record was played the following Sunday on Detroit's top Urban Radio Station WJLB with a great response.

Seven years later he is still shining, Releasing Light It Up Digitally worldwide.  He and his label Harmony Soul Entertainment has been excited about the single's fast rising popularity!  Recieivng airplay on the top Urban Radio Station in the 3rd  top media market, WGCI.  The single has also joined the elite roster of artist that is played nationally on Music Choice's Hip Hop and R&B Channel.  The single also is featured on MTV.COM's New Music and Songs section of their highly visited website.
