BANGOR, Maine - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Continuing their tradition of giving back to the community during the holiday season, Pulse Marketing Agency announces its second annual marketing plan guidance campaign for small businesses: Planning Ahead: Sharing Knowledge to Help Small Businesses Grow.

Between November 8th and November 22nd, Pulse Marketing will be offering three free breakfast workshops designed to help local entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations develop strong marketing plans for a prosperous 2014. Each 2-hour session will focus on B2C, nonprofit, and B2B marketing strategies respectively, giving local organizations the opportunity to build unique, flexible marketing plans for the upcoming year - or to revamp their existing plans.

Cíntia Miranda, President and founder of Pulse Marketing Agency, is committed to helping the community grow through various volunteer efforts and financial sponsorship of community projects.  As an entrepreneur and a proud mother, Cíntia makes the time to volunteer an average of 5-8 hours per week, on top of her dedicated work at her Agency.

“We look for ways to give back to our community every day,” says Miranda, “but especially during the holiday season, when we choose a few community projects to sponsor and donate our time and knowledge to help local entrepreneurs. We offered marketing clinics last December, and they were a big success; we helped guide 12 businesses from Bangor, Ellsworth, and Bar Harbor in accomplishing their marketing goals in 2013. This year, we decided to increase the number of attending organizations to 15 by offering three separate workshops focusing on key components of marketing strategies specific to B2C, nonprofit, and B2B businesses.  We have a wonderful, sunny conference room,” she adds, “that’s very conducive to learning.”

The first Planning Ahead: Sharing Knowledge to Help Small Businesses Grow workshop, directed toward B2C businesses, will take place on Friday, November 8, from 7AM-9AM at Pulse Marketing Agency (located at 175 Exchange Street, Suite 240, Bangor). The B2C session will be followed by workshops for nonprofits on November 15th, and for B2B on November 22nd. All of these free breakfast workshops are open to five attendees per session.  To qualify, however, attending organizations cannot be currently engaged with a marketing agency or consultant, as Pulse hopes to bring the greatest benefit to organizations with low or no marketing budget.  Attendees will receive a free marketing plan template and other supporting materials to help them develop a successful and attainable plan for 2014.

Each workshop will also include a Question & Answer period following the presentation. Businesses wishing to take advantage of this generous offer are encouraged to bring a list of questions, to maximize the value of their time.

If you would like to participate in this year’s Planning Ahead: Sharing Knowledge to Help Small Businesses Grow workshops, call (207) 947-9333 to reserve your spot now. Each workshop is limited to five attendees, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
