Aria Tesolin #1 Indie Artist Performs at The Spoke Club in Toronto on Nov. 15

TORONTO - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Former teen opera singing sensation Aria Tesolin, now twenty, has gone where few pop classical singers have gone since Andrea Bocelli, with her radio hit single The Key. Tesolin’s unique music features her creative writing style, moving lyrics, and signature classical voice. The Key is the lead single from the Tesolin’s new album Ascension. Like most of the songs on the album, both music and lyrics for The Key was composed and written by the artist. “Ascension” features all original music with edgy pop sensibilities to complement Tesolin’s classically trained operatic voice. For the album Producer Douglas Romanow created an innovative sonic landscape where the poetic originality of her lyrics and classical influences meet a modern electronic sound.

The Key soared to the #5 on the Hot 100 Singles Chart published by New Music Weekly on Sept 6th, sharing space alongside major recording artists like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. The Key also reached #9 on Top 40 and #8 on AC, and making Aria Tesolin the new #1 Indie artist in Top 40, a position formerly held by Fun, and Mumford & Sons in AC.
