ERA Wilder Realty Hosts 6th Annual Bowl-A-Thon Supporting MDA

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Nov. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- ERA Wilder Realty hosted its 6^th annual bowl-a-thon to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) on Friday at Anchor Lanes in Irmo, S.C. Agents and their families created teams to raise money and bowl together.

“Giving back to our community is one of the core principles of this company,” said Lucinda Brasington, ERA Wilder Realty’s bowl-a-thon chair. “Our agents give tirelessly of themselves to help raise money to send children with neuromuscular diseases to camp, and they love to do it. We are very proud of all of their efforts.”

ERA Wilder Realty was recognized by MDA in September on their Show of Strength Telethon on ABC for their progressive support of fight against neuromuscular diseases. The company’s efforts have brought in over $100,000 for MDA in the past five years to help hone in on a cure.

Along with the annual bowl-a-thon, ERA Wilder’s home office and agents support MDA through letter writing campaigns, wine pulls and in past years, yard sales. Since 1977 when ERA Real Estate paired up with MDA, the company and its franchise affiliates have raised nearly $35 million all together.
