MANDEVILLE, La. - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Today Catherine Rose Chiara has activated a new campaign on Zequs, a crowdfunding site. The reason she went with Zequs is because of the personal attention they gave her. She got an email from James Bailey who works there and they set up a time to speak on the telephone.  He called her from the UK and they discussed her page.  He gave her many insights, she took his suggestions and made it better.  Now she is ready to go. Seen here http://www.zequs.com/members/my-account/campaigns/hanna-s-handbags. According to Wikipedia, Fashion Week in New York happens in February and September of each year. Other Fashion weeks happen in Paris, London, and Milan.

Catherine Rose Chiara started out wanting to be a fashion designer and took classes at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA heading in that direction. However after taking a 2D art class with a professor who told her she had a flair for painting, she went in that direction and has spent the last 19 years building a substantial body of artwork. She finds it ironic that there is a fashion designer named Catherine Chiara whose fashions you can find when you Google Catherine Chiara.  Catherine Rose Chiara’s work is extremely different from Catherine Chiara’s.  Catherine Rose Chiara once tried to contact Catherine Chiara the fashion designer to see if they could use this irony as a marketing tool but she never heard back from her.

Catherine Rose Chiara began making the handbags in 2005 handcrafting them and handpainting each bag. She has now created Hanna's Handbags which is an amalgamation of fine art and haute couture. She will make paintings and have them reproduced on fabric then sew the bags.  In the past one bag would take a week to make and now she will be able to make one much quicker with less pin pricks to her fingers.  She wore thimbles but still managed to draw blood. Catherine hopes her first appearance with Hanna's Handbags will be at Fashion Week and from there she will market aggressively attending trade shows geared toward handbags and accessories.  She has placed for sale on Amazon the remaining 5 handmade, handcrafted handbags which were the original inspiration for the Hanna’s Handbags.  The rest were sold at art fairs and the Holy Cross-Immaculata festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Catherine will continue painting new paintings to use as artwork on the handbags.  She uses her technique that she first developed in 2002 then again in 2012.  She really needs everyone's help with this fundraising campaign. Catherine is self-employed and has had many different jobs over the years to earn income.  "I am at a point in my life and a location where I learned I was designed to earn a living being creative. I am working on multiple streams of income from my artwork utilizing the internet as a brick and mortar shop which includes reproduction websites and Hanna's Handbags at http://hannashandbagsandaccessories.webs.com/ The campaign is up so please go pledge today.  I really need everyones help with this because I believe the world needs my beautiful handbags."
