WALLDORF, Germany - Oct. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Walldorf, Oct 24 2013  ---- The second  European workshop on software ecosystems will be held on Dec 5 2013 in Walldorf Germany. Software ecosystem research focuses on the interaction of vendors, developers, customers and partners in markets around software platforms offered by different vendors. In an “un-conference” style, with short presentations and long discussion slots, leading edge software ecosystem research will be discussed with software business practitioners. Presenters will also run for the prestigious best presentation award.

Based on the success of the 2012 European workshop on software ecosystems, which focused around design principles of software platforms, attractiveness of software platforms, mobile software ecosystems, software company internationalization as well as architectural guidance and governance in software ecosystems, we are looking forward to this year´s discussions between researchers and practitioners
