Dr.KP Yohannan’s compassion for the needy people has been a strong inspiration to everyone working with Believers Church.”
Overwhelmed by the initiatives of Believers Church, Mr.Bhaskar V.S added “I am very much inspired by the work that the Believers Church is doing for the most ignored and underprivileged communities.
Subsequently, the Chief Guest distributed gifts to all the beneficiaries and those who received these gifts expressed their gratitude with blissful smiles on their faces.
The life of a physically challenged person is not an easy one. They have to face several difficulties in their everyday life. Apparently, they are deprived of good education. Some of them are also ill treated in the society. They are the most ignored people and tend to cocoon themselves in the shell of dependency.
A physically challenged lady from Majholi village of Kabeerdham district mentioned that her father is a daily wage labor and it was difficult for them to afford a tricycle for her. After receiving the gift, she said “I was born as a handicapped baby, since my childhood I always needed somebody to help me move. I had started to feel like a burden to my parents and everyone around me. With this tricycle, Believers Church has given me support and an independent life. Now I don’t need to bother others to help me.”
Another beneficiary from Palansari village of Kabeerdham district added, “My dreams and desires gets shattered each time I realize that I am handicapped and that I cannot even walk on my own. I never experienced love and care for myself. This is the first time that I have received a gift. This tricycle is not just a gift but a ray of new hope for me.”
