TREMEC Joins M&P Speed Shop SEMA Project

ONTARIO, Calif. - Oct. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Morgan's & Phillip's Speed Shop has announced a partnership with TREMEC Transmission for this years M&P Speed Shop SEMA show project car. The car a 1967 Ford Fairlane in classic Gulf Racing Livery is one one of the most anticipated cars of this years SEMA show and will be featured as part of the Meguiar's Car Cazy display.

"TREMEC was the only choice and we are so happy to have their support, the TKO-600 is the ultimate transmission for this application" said Michael Satterfield, creative director for M&P Speed Shop. The car will have a 427 cubic inch Ford "Big Block", producing around 500hp, transferred through a TKO 5 Speed Manual transmission.

TREMEC's TKO series of 5-speed transmissions was first made famous by the 5-liter Mustang movement and has since been fitted into nearly every rear-wheel drive performance application imaginable.

Other driveline components from Hurst Driveline and Mcleod Racing will make sure the TKO bolts up to the FE power under the hood.
