Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing Conference to be Held on November 16, 2013

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The first annual Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing Conference will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the National Counsel of Jewish Women, 543 Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles. The Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing Conference or TWWC is open to anyone who is a part of the transgender community and its allies.

This is the first annual conference that is geared towards the wellness and wellbeing of all individuals of trans* experience as well as allies. The conference aims to provide workshop sessions that will discuss the wellbeing and wellness of the community as a whole. Its foundation is to give content that will surely inspire the greatness in all of us.

It is known that the educational resources for the Trans* community are usually extremely limited and sporadic. The TWWC is one of the most effective ways of bringing the resources of the Trans* community to its people. This conference is also one of the best ways to provide transgender people with resources and information from professionals within the community. All presenters at the upcoming event are members of the Trans* community as well as its allies.

Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing Conference is brought to the community by the NuMan Transgender Support Network (NTSN). NTSN is a Trans* community organization in Los Angeles that is committed to bringing fresh ideas and developing resources for the betterment of the Trans* Community. The organization aims to move transgender people to a realization of the greatness within themselves through their very first annual Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing conference this coming November 2013. This is the very first of its kind to be presented this year on the West Coast. Participants can expect resources, education and workshops that will inspire them and help bring vitality, prosperity, and health into their lives.

The success of the event will lie in the hands of all of its participants. That is why TWWC invites all transgendered individuals to register and attend the event. They also encourage transgender individuals to sign up and present a workshop or become a volunteer. This is a free event open to the community. Free lunch will also be provided to all who attend the Trans* Wellness and Wellbeing Conference. Registration for the event will close at midnight on November 13, 2013.
