13 year old Kent dancer competes on a national show!

Oct. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Trinity was one of 11 dancers, ages 13 and under, chosen nationwide to compete on the second season of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Experience.  This dance reality show, similar to ‘So you think you can dance’ but for kids, airs on Tuesdays Lifetime 9pm.

Abby Lee, the head judge and namesake of the show, has definitely made a name for herself with the controversial show, Dance Moms.  The second season of ‘AUDC’ definitely has it’s share of drama with the high strung dance moms but also demonstrates a variety of young talented dancers from around the country.

Trinity and her mom Tina are representing themselves, their studio and humble, hardworking dancers everywhere in such a classy way.  While all the other moms and dancers are focusing on attacking each other, Trinity and Tina are just remaining focused on the issue at hand… dancing!

Trinity is a powerful dancer and has climbed her way to the top 5 and is still going strong.  Each episode a challenge is held and the winner is given some kind of prize such as immunity, etc…  After only eight episodes, Trinity has now won four of the challenges!  This is the most amount of challenges that any one contestant has ever won.

Last night’s episode, Tuesday October 22,2013, was her fourth challenge success and it came with a stressful price tag for her mother, Tina.  The prize was to be able to ‘save’ one dancer from the bottom three.  This would have been an easy choice if Trinity was in the bottom three but she was not.  Abby was actually very impressed with how well Trinity danced while knowing that she would not be going home this week, that her mom would have saved her.  During the discussion between Tina and Trinity about which of the bottom three dancers to save, their true colors were revealed and it was an extremely proud moment for all that know them personally.  Tina wanted to make a decision based on the judge’s critiques and not the politics of the other mothers.  Trinity asked her mom to save the stronger dancer and in her words, ‘Don’t make it easier on me’ and ‘I’m not going to learn anything by sweeping the best people out of the way!’  What a profound and impressive statement for a 13 year old girl!

Trinity grew up dancing at Allegro and also trained competitively in gymnastics.  Although she is known for being a strong hip hop dancer she is very well-rounded and can hold her own in any style of dance.  She trains in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, gymnastics and more.

The next few weeks will prove how far Trinity will make it in the competition but what we do know for sure is that she has an amazing future ahead of her in dance.  She continues to train hard but the opportunities are already rolling in.  She will be travelling with the Pulse on tour convention this year as a protégé, has an agent in LA and will be attending auditions there from time to time, is touring with the AUDC2 cast around the country, is sponsored by hip hop brand ‘Urban Empire’ and many more exciting announcements are just around the corner.

Allegro couldn’t be any more proud of Trinity and her mother.  Allegro owner, Tonya Goodwillie, knew when the casting director called us to ask about Allegro dancers to audition, that they would be a perfect fit for the show.  Besides the amazing dancing, they are making up for what a bad rap dance moms and the competitive dance world has gotten over the past few years.  Trinity and Tina Inay are proof that you can be talented but humble and competitive but classy… all at the same time.   Go Trinity!  #teamtrinity #allegropride
