By: Critical Thoughts Publishing Along with meeting several local authors, the public will be able to engage authors who have gained national acclaim. Additionally, be able to converse with publishing experts during panel discussions on topics pertaining to: how to get a book published, how to self-publish with success, and how to engage a literary agent as greater success becomes apparent. The event will also aid young minds and future young authors build their home library from book donations. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., is a national Fraternity, whose membership roll includes Langston Hughes, Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Shaquille O’Neal, Ricky Smiley and AJ Calloway. Critical Thoughts Publishing is a New Jersey based publishing entity, which focuses on the African American experience and works that are engaging to the intellect and relevant for a diverse culture. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has a stellar history in spearheading relevant community outreach programs. Education and exposure are essential to success, providing resources for fellow adults and youth is an Omega commitment, stated Marvin Bazemore, Omegas, social action chairman. Baaki Tafiti Bell, CEO of Critical Thoughts Publishing and author of "Destroy the Perceptions" Bell stated the program is free to the public. But a request is made that along with coming out to support the authors, people come and donate an age-appropriate book to aid students’ K to 7 at Park Avenue Elementary School build their home library.
