Clinton Health Matters Initiative and Wellable Join to Promote Wellness

BOSTON - Oct. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Wellable, a wellness incentive company that enables health plans, employers, and wellness providers to leverage mobile apps to implement robust wellness programs joins the Clinton Foundation today to announce a Commitment to Action with the Clinton Health Matters Initiative (CHMI) to promote health and wellness across America.  Through their CHMI commitment, Wellable will offer key communities access to Wellable’s technology platform, allowing existing and future CHMI strategic partners to support meaningful health and wellness behavior change aimed at reducing the proliferation of preventable diseases, lowering medical expenses, and increasing productivity.  Wellable will also deploy its mobile-empowered wellness platform to employers and other organizations in the four CHMI Community Health Transformation sites - Coachella Valley, Central Arkansas, Northeast Florida, and Greater Houston.

With today’s announcement, Wellable and CHMI launch a two-phased wellness deployment strategy that will initially target organizations located in CHMI’s four Community Health Transformation sites.  The second phase of Wellable’s commitment will extend into CHMI’s network of more than 45 strategic partners, which range from small employers to Fortune 100 companies, to provide Wellable’s employee wellness solution to their employees.
