Even though the doctors had given up on her she did not and neither did God. He had a mighty works for her to do and over the years she has been speaking publicly, educating on the effects and affects of HIV, coaching women and girls and has won numerous awards. What better way to celebrate all she has accomplished and deposited in the thousands of women and girls over the years than to “Celebrate Life”. On December 7, 2013 a private invitation only reception will be held for the media, community partners, organizations and close family and friends who have supported DeVondia for the past 10 years. “This is my way of showing my appreciation for air time on local radio and television, media print, community partners and organizations that have supported me genuinely throughout the years by bringing needed awareness to a disease that is still ravishing the African American community.” TCB 54 Hundred Bar and Grill has donated their space for this private reception and after party at 5400 Nevins Road Suite E.
