PENSACOLA, Fla. - Oct. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- The Sims Middle School Robotics Club, along with their sponsors Mr. Kenneth Atkinson, Mr. William Shaner and Mrs. Avery, would like to announce their fundraising campaign to raise money for the students for travel and other expenses to attend this year's regional robotics competition in Auburn, AL.  The robotics club students will be selling FunkyChunky, a delicious line of snacks that have been featured on the Rachel Ray show, The Today Show and Good Morning America.

FunkyChunky snacks come in four flavors - chocolate popcorn, which is a caramel corn made with real butter and brown sugar combined with whole almonds, cashews and pecans, and then drizzled with a rich blend of dark, milk and white chocolate - sea salt caramel, which is buttery caramel popcorn with fresh, salted cashew pieces, topped with chewy caramel and milk/dark chocolaty drizzle then sprinkled with sea salt for an addictive salty and sweet combination - chocolate pretzels, laced with rich, chewy caramel, drenched with dark, milk and white chocolaty drizzle, and finished with a generous amount of salty chopped pecans, and - Chip-Zel-Pop, an indulgent mix made with all natural crisp potato chips, pretzel sticks and buttery caramel corn, laced with rich, chewy caramel and then drenched with dark, milk and white chocolaty drizzle.  Sizes range from a 5 ounce snack size to large collectible gift tins.

The Sims robotics club is different from most clubs.  They have supervision, but that is the only thing that the adults do.  The members of the robotics team run their club under their version of the Six Sigma and DMAIC methods.  They design/define the robot and team member roles, make it happen, analyze progress, improve workmanship, and compete in the annual BEST Robotics Competition.

Please help support the Sims Middle School Robotics Club!  Orders for FunkyChunky products can be placed through a participating student, or in person at the Sims Middle School front office - 5500 Education Drive, Pace, FL 32571, or call 850-995-3676 for more information.
