Team TAG gives back during Boys and Girls Club of Venice Annual Champion of Youth Gala

CULVER CITY, Calif. - Oct. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Team TAG gives back during Boys and Girls Club of Venice Annual Champion of Youth Gala

On Friday October 4, 2013, the Boys and Girls Club of Venice hosted their annual Champion of Youth Gala at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California.  This has always been a highly anticipated event because of its huge success in years past, and this year it did not disappoint.   One of the main reasons that drives the huge success each year is Team TAG's volunteers that help with all aspects of the event including the silent/live auction portion.  Our employees of Team TAG used their expertise of sales and interpersonal skills to auction off great prizes like a paid for trip to New York, signed memorabilia by Kobe Bryant and Tony Hawk, signed guitar by Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, wine tastings, autographed  Clueless cast reunion, spa treatments, and local restaurants.  All the proceeds went to the Boys and Girls Club of Venice programs.

The Boys and Girls Club of  Venice is an organization that enables all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.  The Champion of the Youth award was given to Stephen Smith, partner of the Kayne Anderson Capitol Advisors and the community leader award was given to David Voss,  a current board member.  By the end of the night, we raised around $216,000 through the raffles, silent auction and generous donations from the attendees.

Danielle Chi, one of the organizer of the Gala and Development Chair at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice, says that "the success of the event is largely thanks to our army of Team TAG volunteers who become our greeters, organizers, silent auctioneers, accountants, and sellers for the night. If there is one team you want on your side, Team TAG."

Camille Kuebler, Solar Account Representative and first timer at the Gala stated, “It was great to be able to contribute to the Boys and Girls Club event and have fun while doing so!”
