He had a lot of good things to say about us, in particular he loved our Charisma!’ The Vinyls recorded ‘Catch’ in the June of 2012. Originally intended as a record of the songs built into their live repertoire and as a promotional album, the album went on sale via iTunes and through postal sales and sold many copies though their dedicated Indie loving fan-base. The success of the album brought thousands of new fans to their YouTube channel, and a popular song from the album, ‘The Mockney Swing’ to date has received over 60 000 views. The Vinyls YouTube channel total views stand at over 160 000. The Vinyls went back into the studio in early 2013 to work on two new singles, working with Kenny Jones at Alchemy Studios. ‘Victoria’ The melodic, uplifting, catchy and Indie poptastic ‘Hurry’ is the fantastic brand new single from The Vinyls and after striking a deal with Matchbox Recordings it will be released worldwide on 18 December 2013 with distribution assistance from Universal Music Operations.
