Art & Apples Festival Artists Featured In Upcoming Silent Auction

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oct. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Rochester, Mich. – Over 130 artists from the 2013 Art & Apples Festival have donated artwork for an upcoming silent auction fundraiser benefitting Paint Creek Center for the Arts. For the Love of Art, will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the art center in downtown Rochester. The artwork will be spread throughout the building in both the Main and First Floor Gallery space.

The 48^th Annual Art & Apples Festival was ranked #13 in the nation out of 2,000 qualifying shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine and is a winner of ArtFairCalendar.com’s “America's Best Art Fairs Award.” Festival artists go through a strict jury process to get the chance to exhibit their work at the 2^nd largest art fair in Michigan. Guests at For the Love of Art will enjoy another opportunity to purchase the works of these incredible artists who make the Art & Apples Festival truly unique.

For the Love of Art is a longstanding event in the Rochester region and has been attended by art patrons for over 25 years. The evening will start at 7pm and guests will enjoy the silent auction featuring art from 2013 Art & Apples Festival artists, a strolling dinner catered by Kosch Catering, complimentary beer, wine and signature drink, the 2013 Volunteer of the Year Awards sponsored by SkinOvations, and live entertainment by Single Shot Steve.

Four ticket levels are available for the event: The $50 Art School ticket includes an individual ticket; the $75 Exhibition ticket includes an individual ticket and recognition in the event program; the $100 Art & Apples Festival ticket includes an individual ticket, recognition in the event program and a one-year membership to PCCA; the $250 Event Patron ticket includes two tickets plus individual or company name recognized in program, individual or company name on event signage and individual or company name on event slideshow. Since 1982, For the Love of Art has been an annual fundraiser for Paint Creek Center for the Arts, a non-profit regional art center located in downtown Rochester.
