RuffleButts Dives Into ABC’s Hit Show Shark Tank

Investor Lori Greiner offered the sweet yet savvy fashion brand, with a $600,000 investment for 9% equity in the company.

A mother of two with a keen eye for fashion and a strong business sense, Amber Schaub created RuffleButts on the foundation of quality products that bring out the whimsical style and charm of every child. With its signature Baby Bloomers, a favorite amongst Hollywood moms and loyal customers, RuffleButts has grown to incorporate an entire collection including dresses, tutus and accessories as well as RuggedButts, an extension of the original line for stylish little boys. Along with her husband, RuffleButts COO Mark Schaub, and her two young children, Aubrey and Jonas, Amber pitched RuffleButts to the self- made entrepreneurial “sharks” on ABC in hopes of scoring a lucrative funding deal that could potentially expand her family business. After a heated debate, it was inventor Lori Greiner, also known as the “warm blooded shark,” who offered to invest in Schaub’s unique and trend-setting line for stylish boys and girls. A new round of funding will help Schaub take RuffleButts to the next level by adding on a strong and experienced executive team as well as expanding the marketing budget to attract new retailers and customers.
