Integral Heart Foundation Appears On BetterWorldians Radio

WAYNE, Pa. - Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Salt Lake City, UT – October 21, 2013 – The Integral Heart Foundation (http://www.integralheartfoundation.org/index.html) today announced that its co-founders, Mick Quinn and Debora Prieto, appeared on BetterWorldians (http://www.voiceamerica.com/show/2253/betterworldians-radio) Radio, a weekly Internet radio show broadcast that inspires with the people and ideas that are making the world a better place. The show appeared on the VoiceAmerica Variety channel on October 17, 2013 (listen here (http://www.voiceamerica.com/episode/73447/developing-the-whole-person-in-the-developing-world)).

Founded in 2009, the Integral Heart Foundation (IHF) is located in Guatemala and is committed to changing the culture from the inside out, through sponsorship and education.  IHF programs include:

·         Critical-Thinking Program: provides Guatemalan children with the means to rise above the hardships of manual labor and physical, emotional and psychological sufferings.

·         Integral Heart Foundation Sponsorship Program: gives children, ranging from ages 6-18, with access to advanced educational opportunities.

·         Solar Power Program: educates children on sustainable energy, and supplies schools and homes around La Antigua with solar power.

IHF has been featured in A Better World (https://www.facebook.com/ABetterWorld), a Facebook game that enables players to support charities while playing interactive games online. A Better World invites players to share their good deeds, notes of encouragement, get-well wishes, and gifts with the Facebook community. The “Reach for the Stars” component of A Better World allowed players to support IHF by sending and receiving hearts. Once the goal of 50,000 hearts sent was realized, funds were released by ToonUps, the developer of A Better World that provided solar generators to light up two schools in Guatemala.
