Conference Aims to Groom Businesses for Emerging Opportunities

ATLANTA - Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, GA — A powerhouse lineup of business and economic development professionals is preparing to Ignite South Fulton! Promising a vigorous, back-to-basics discussion of “real issues… real solutions,” Ignite South Fulton will challenge businesses and entrepreneurs to prepare for the future by stepping up their game.

Lead organizers of Ignite South Fulton are the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the Unincorporated South Fulton County Economic Development Initiative, in partnership with various South Fulton businesses and business organizations.

“South Fulton County is poised for explosive economic growth,” said Edward Nelson, Jr., USFC-EDI, of the South Fulton County Economic Development Initiative. “Many businesses here are well prepared operationally, but may not be aware of emerging opportunities. Others, however, are hampered by outmoded systems and practices that we will address. Ignite South Fulton is about creating wins for individual businesses while propelling this community as a globally competitive marketplace.”

The conference will feature the Synergy Business Expo, networking opportunities, and high-energy, interactive workshops and presentations. Organizers aim to motivate attendees and connect them with tools, strategies, resources and opportunities, including government procurement opportunities.

Session titles include: Building Teams with Flawless Execution Strategies; Small Does Not Mean Small: Out of the Box Thinking; Strategic Alliances: An Avenue to Business Growth; Taking on Goliath; Economic Development and its Global Impact.  Conference presentations will feature business professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, consultants, academics, motivational speakers, and policy makers.
