By: Release hosted on AFOS.com The Company is proud to announce that the Series, (subject to all Approvals), will be joining the Asian Festival of Speed (AFOS) calendar from 2014. The Series will be run over a total of 12 rounds, at 6 Events across the Asia Pacific Region each year and will consist of up to 25 new Toyota 86 cars. The Company has secured a deal with MOTOSPORT ASIA, the Region’s most established Motorsport Promoter, to manage the series on behalf of ASIMG. This will deliver a professionally managed, world-class championship to the field of competitors participating in the new series, to be held at well-known International race events. This will also ensure maximum exposure for competitors and Sponsors.The package will include extensive TV coverage and market branding for the new 86 series. A spokesperson for the Company, Mr. Rod Lisson (CEO) said, “ASIMG is proud to be associated with Motorsport Asia and looks forward to a formal Launch of the Asia Pacific 86 Championship series in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in January 2014”. “I am very excited about this new championship for the Toyota 86.
