LA's Newest Angel - Anne Mahlum Brings 'back on my feet' to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Runner, Visionary, Change, the three words best to describe CNN Hero, Anne Mahlum. The city has a new angel. Mahlum brings her amazing mission to the west in Los Angeles, Oct. 28th.

In 2008, Mahlum was named a Top 10 CNN Hero. In our book Mahlum is number one. Back On My Feet promotes the self-sufficiency of homeless people, by engaging in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. The organization was founded in Philadelphia in 2007.

Currently BoMF has chapters in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, NY and Indianapolis. To date, BoMF has more than 3000 active members and has assisted more than 1300 individuals find a better way of life.
