Follow on Google News | The Dodge Caravan Kids Program Has Been Supporting Amateur Hockey For Over Seven YearsThe program has donated more than $4 million to novice house league teams throughout Canada.
By: Knight Dodge Teams that are eligible for assistance can sign up to receive funding for tournaments, jerseys, equipment, and other additional costs necessary to play novice-level hockey. Currently, more than 8,000 teams from all over Canada have benefitted from the Dodge Caravan Kids program. That means that 120,000 players or over 30,000 families have been able to take part in the sport with help from the program. The Dodge Caravan Kids program provides other methods of funding besides sponsoring community hockey teams. There is the Dodge Caravan Kids Team Photo Contest where teams take a fun photo featuring a Dodge Grand Caravan (http://www.knightdodge.ca/ Families throughout Canada can also take part in the Dodge Caravan Kids “Score and Win Contest.” One entrant will be chosen to win both a 2014 Dodge Caravan and $5,000 to support their local hockey organization. Last season, the Dodge Family All Stars program made its debut. This program, which is a partnership with the CHL, thanks billet families that take in semi-professional hockey players. Those billet families can send in their stories for the chance to win one of three available trips to the 2014 Memorial Cup. They will also be recognized at the CHL awards and get to go on-ice during a CHL game to see if they have won a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan.
