Bob said recently, "It's true, I am returning behind the mic. My new show will bring guests who aren't afraid to answer the hard questions, aren't afraid to express their point of view and most importantly can back up what they say with the facts.
Like in the movie 'A Few Good Men', I want the truth. That is what you will get here, the truth. We have heard the sugar coating the mass media has put on the news stories today and how news moved from news to entertainment. You won't get that on my show. The days of Edward Murrow, Huntley and Brinkley, Walter Cronkite and the great newsmen of the day are back. I plan to attack the issues and not circumvent them for ratings or to please some hot shot in a office suite."
Bob went on with a bit of a warning also, "We are also going to be opening the phone lines for callers at the bottom of each hour, I want to get listener input on various stories of the day. However, if you think you can come on and make a statement that is totally in left field and not to the issue at hand, you will be cut off. The network has given me free reign with this show and I appreciate it, so don't be surprised with what you hear. It is my intent to make you think and start the conversation."
The CEO of Star Com Media confirmed that Bob Williams has total control of the show content and guests, plus confirmed that many of the guests will upset quite a few people as they take the flip side on the issues. "Bob wants interaction,"
"We are very excited about this new show", the CEO continued, "and with the departure of David Calef and "Inside Politics", because of David's new position with the Veterans Administration, it gave Bob the opening he sought, Drive-Time."
So mark your calendar as Bob takes to the airwaves Monday October 21st from 6-8pm Central Time/7pm-9pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday on the Star Com Radio Network. You can hear his show by going to, http://tunein.com/
