Starkey Mortgage Expands National Builder Division to Texas

PLANO, Texas - Oct. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Perhaps more than anywhere else in the country, Texas new home building is at an all-time high. Starkey Mortgage (WR Starkey Mortgage, LLP NMLSR# 2146), a full-service mortgage banking company with over 40 branches in nine states, has responded to the Texas housing market uptick by expanding their Builder Services Division to support homebuilders throughout Texas.

Texas-headquartered Starkey Mortgage has worked alongside community builders and homebuyers through the economic collapse and recognizes that many small to mid-size builders do not have the in-house resources or marketing departments they require to help them effectively market their communities. In response to this unfulfilled niche, Starkey Mortgage created its Builder Services program, which will offer professional marketing assistance to small builders so they can engage in effective social media, digital, and print marketing efforts to attract new home owners.

Susan has been with Starkey Mortgage for more than 11 years, serving as Sr. Vice President and Central Production Manager.  She has been responsible for the growth and expansion of the company throughout this region. “The new home market has seen exceptional growth nationwide, especially in Texas where new home starts and housing prices are on the rise.  We are excited to be able to offer additional support to homebuilders throughout the Lone Star State” Doane explained. The Texas homebuilding industry, which went into hibernation during the recession, awoke unprepared for a rebound. A strong job market, projected population growth, and a low unemployment rate of 6.4% has led to a strong new home sales market throughout Texas.
