SEATTLE - Oct. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Due to his high-energy personality and specialty in exercise training with a focus on Chaos-Hybrid Modals, Ali Crosbie is poised to mark his third time around as a King 5 Best of Western Washington finalist as both a Best Boot Camp and Best Personal Trainer nominee.

After surviving a near fatal freeway accident his sophomore year in college in 2000, the University of Washington graduate decided to dedicate his life to health and fitness and has never looked back. The result has been a continued expanding career as a personal trainer due to his training of everyday Northwest citizens, as well as professional fighting athletes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

“I see myself as a preventative medicine doctor,” says Crosbie. “I just want to change people’s lives.”

Currently training at Tahoma Athletic Club in Auburn, Crosbie holds five health and fitness training certifications in addition to his B.S. in Anatomy and Physiology degree from the University of Washington. He’s one of five personal trainers in the Northwest region to be hired as an official trainer for professional fighters such as Dennis Hallman (UFC), Cory Devela (Local MMA), and Chauncey Welliver (WBO); as well as the personal trainer to Biggest Loser Season 2 winner, Matt Hoover.

“I had 50 fights before I thought, ‘I need to get into elite athletic shape.’ I heard of Ali's program in Auburn so I moved over there to work with him. At that time I was not ranked but once we started working out, up the World rating I went,” says Welliver who was a youth World Champion and #5 overall ranked heavyweight boxer. “It was intense, and it was tough but I had a goal and on days I wanted to quit Ali reminded me it takes tough work to meet goals…With Ali I lost 80lbs, stayed strong and fast and became the most accomplished pro boxer in the last 20 years out of the Northwest. Without Ali, I could not have done it”

“My motivation is why I stick out…I don’t let people quit on me,” says Crosbie.

Ali Crosbie is currently taking on new clients at the Tahoma Athletic Club. Those interested in training with him can contact Tahoma Athletic Club at (253) 833-1117 to make an appointment.
