Follow on Google News | ARMA CEO Tomi Bannister Completes Tuck-WBENC Executive Program Sponsored by IBMBy: ARMA, Inc. The Tuck-WBENC Executive Program, created in 2003, empowers women entrepreneurs by addressing their unique needs in business, and fostering a sense of sisterhood for this year’s 62 participants. Tuck professors and top industry insiders lectured women entrepreneurs with step-by-step tactics on corporate governance to transform their businesses by improving strategic planning, organization, operations and resources, and systems and processes. To enhance the relevance of the experience, the course used ARMA’s business plan as a case study in the curriculum. True to Tuck’s collaborative and IBM’s innovative reputations, the program’s engaging social network allowed these participants to meet virtually before the program began and will help them maintain their connections throughout the year from anywhere in the world. Already, the participants have been sharing online resources which continue to strengthen one another in business. Tomi Bannister is excited to use the teachings from the program, as well as tips and suggestions from exchanges with her “Tuck Sisters,” to drive her business forward. “The Tuck Executive Program was a great experience for me,” Ms. Bannister reports. “I am confident that the knowledge and relationships will have a great impact on the success of my business in the future.
