New Writers With Varying Styles Grace the Pages of The Wrighter in the Month of October

The voices change: other writers are featured on the arts and culture blog this month as The Wrighter continues to seek them out.

TUSTIN, Calif. - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- This month, the arts and culture blog, The Wrighter , has featured guest writers, including culture blogger Micah Yongo, with his essay titled "Driven to Distraction?" The post discusses some of the cons of our favorite distractions of modern technology.

Other guest writers include Elle Beah, who discusses "The Battle of Atlanta" (http://www.thewrighteronline.com/2013/10/the-battle-of-atlanta-art-installation.html) a controversial art installation created by Kara Walker. An essay by Devonna Banks Law titled "Incarceration: One Mother's Pain" breifly touches upon the painful heartbreak of being a mother of an incarcerated child.

Articles, reviews and reposts by Kobina Wright are included in the month's line up as well.

Kobina Wright, creator and contributor to The Wrighter, is a second generation Southern California native who wrote her third volume of poetry titled, "Say It! Say Gen-o-cide!!" − dedicated to the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. In 2009 she co-authored a volume of nuler poetry titled "A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime" and in 2010 wrote a volume of nuler poetry titled, "50."

So far in 2013, Wright’s literary and art works have been published in: The Bicycle Review; Boxcar Poetry Review; Burning Word Literary Journal; Crack the Spine; The Fiction Week Literary Review; The Missing Slate; Orion headless; The Passionate Transitory; Subliminal Interiors and Wilderness House Literary Review.
