ELGIN, Ill. - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- For the past three years, Chevrolet dealers, employees, and customers have united to help in the fight against breast cancer. Along with the American Cancer Society, Chevrolet is helping to generate funds for the organization’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks and activities. Biggers Chevrolet in Elgin (http://www.biggerschevy.com/new-inventory/) is proud to do their part, and they are letting their customers now about the important cause.

The American Cancer Society, along with help from Chevrolet, raised $1,211,463 last year from the Making Strides walks. Customers that would like to stand up with Chevrolet against breast cancer can do so by taking a test drive at participating dealerships such as Biggers Chevy. The automaker will donate $10 per eligible test drive to the American Cancer Society for up to $130,000.

During certain NASCAR Sprint Cup and IZOD IndyCar Series races throughout the month of October, Chevrolet will make a contribution of $200 for each lap that is run under caution. Along with that donation, a pink Chevrolet Camaro SS will be the pace car for specific NASCAR Sprint Cup series races. During the IZOD IndyCar series event this October at Auto Club Speedway, a unique 2014 Corvette Stingray will be the pace car.

From October 1 through November 30, there will be a Chevrolet Certified Service matching rebate promotion that is available on select services.
