The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

More than 1,200 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Communications Campaign of the Year. MobilePaks is a finalist in the New Company of the Year Category and CEO, Chanin Ballance, is a finalist in the Innovator of the Year category.

Originally a division of VIA, a communications and custom elearning company, MobilePaks’ roots originate from a life-long love of learning and a passion for the art and science of influencing performance. Under Ballance’s guidance, MobilePaks is becoming a company that breaks from the past and takes a disruptive new approach that fundamentally changes how people access and share knowledge in business today. The innovative on-demand knowledge platform and sales readiness tool empowers companies to quickly share knowledge with their customers, employees and partners in a way that fits their daily activities.

“I am honored to be a finalist for the Stevie Award for Innovator of the Year and I am especially proud of the MobilePaks team for all of their great accomplishments this year,” said Ballance. “They put the user first in everything they architect and as a result they are making inspiring, easy-to-use products that help sales people achieve their full potential.”

Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. More than 90 members of the five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.

“For 10 years we have been recognizing the achievements of women in business, and this year’s nominations were the most impressive class the judges have ever reviewed,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “We look forward to seeing the final judges’ decisions and honoring this year’s Stevie winners in New York next month.”

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 8. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.

“Chanin has a passion for communication and learning, especially helping people engage and learn faster,” said Denise Coley, Director, Global Supplier Diversity, Cisco. “It is exciting to see her continue her constant advancement into new technological landscapes to accommodate changing learner preferences – including on-demand and self-driven sales enablement."
