Notre Dame Grads Make Debut into Reality TV World with New Dating Game Show Special

Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- “She Loves a Man in Uniform”(SLAMU) will launch in the Indianapolis and South Bend markets on Channel 40 and 46 respectively at 9pm. The dating show special, produced by Indy-based 70WesTV, just might be what Grey's Anatomy, NYPD Blue, CSI, or the NFL locker room were like if placed in a blind-date game show format.  SLAMU is a fun blind-date game show that brings single ladies together with handsome single guys in a multitude of uniforms from NFL jerseys to moving company t-shirts offering the real possibility of finding true love.

This announcement was made by Felicia Moodie and Tamara Stubblefield producers of the show.

“SLAMU was born out of the ah-ha moment young 20-somethings and sometimes late bloomer 30-somethings have when a person finally realizes its more than just looks that keeps a relationship together and that the qualities of honor and service are even more important to a lasting relationship.”

Launching on November 2nd at 9pm on WHMB Channel 40 in Indianapolis, Moodie partnered with fellow Notre Dame classmate and former CIA profiler, Patrick Parks, EdM, who will host the dating show special and also recruited former Cleveland Browns Running Back and Notre Dame Football Captain, Travis Thomas to be part of the show’s lineup.

Parks’ interesting background as a performer, profiler for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and as a coach in his private practice to Fortune 500 executives, celebrities, and pro athletes makes him a perfect fit as a matchmaker according to producers. Moodie shares, “Though he never deliberately planned any of it, Patrick admittedly has used his knack for observing people in every job he’s ever had. So it just made sense to ask him to host the show.”

That said, She Loves a Man in Uniform elevates the tested dating show format with an edgy spin that the whole family can watch and enjoy. The return to courtship has never been more fun with the launch of SLAMU.
