GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Chevrolet recently introduced the all-new 2015 versions of the Tahoe and Suburban. These Chevy models have been two of the car industry’s best selling SUVs; a fact Chevrolet has no intentions of changing. They will offer new styling, a quieter ride, new safety features, and an increased estimated highway fuel economy. The 2015 Chevy Tahoe and 2015 Chevy Suburban are expected to hit dealerships across the country, including Sunrise Chevy in Glendale Heights, sometime during the first quarter of 2014.

Over 117,000 Suburban and Tahoe models were sold in 2012. Over the first half of 2013, sales had already risen 16% from last year. Dan Ammann, General Motors executive vice president and CFO, said that these two SUVs will continue to “provide great value for customers” and that it’s important that Chevy customers continue to get the “quality and performance they expect and deserve.”

The 2015 Chevy Suburban marks its 80th anniversary as well as the start of its 12th generation. The Suburban was originally introduced to consumers in 1935 and is the oldest automobile nameplate still in production. The Tahoe has its own bragging rights, namely being the sales leader in the segment.

New technology you can expect to see on both models includes:

Keyless entry and a push-button start
Second and third row seats that fold flat, giving owners more cargo space
Available rear-seat entertainment, with a Blu-ray DVD player and dual screens (Suburban only)
MyLink connectivity with a color touchscreen

Standard safety features on the 2015 Tahoe and Suburban include forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane change assist, and adaptive cruise control. In addition, Chevy’s Safety Alert Seat is also available and will alert drivers about potential crash threats with directional vibrations. The front-seat center airbag, the only one in the entire class, provides drivers and front passengers with additional protection in far-side impact crashes.
