PORTLAND, Ore. - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- MobilePaks, the innovative on-demand knowledge platform and sales readiness tool, today announced it has updated the user interface to make the site even more user-friendly and mobile-ready.

The new renderer provides indication of how many pages there are in a Pak and where the user is in the progression. It also allows for easier navigation through the Pak with swipe controls and the ability to jump from one page to the next. Lastly, it adds support for back and forward buttons so users can easily navigate through the Pak using their browsers' controls.

“There's a lot to love in this new release of MobilePaks including crisp typography and large touch targets, making the new version even easier to use,” said Jason Grigsby Mobile and Web Strategist, Co-Founder at Cloud Four and consultant with Mobilepaks. “It is clear that the mobile-first perspective is leading to huge usability improvements for all devices and users.”

Some of the other recent updates include:

Salesforce.com Integration: Now with Salesforce.com integration sales reps can go to one place to get all the information they need when they need it.

PakBuilder Content Hints: Now when managers build Paks, they can get a preview of the content in the editor from the main content tree.

New Help Tab: Now there is a central place for Help and Support Paks. The tab is located at the top of MobilePaks next to the Manage and Discover Tabs.

Pak Cloning Tool: In the Manage side, managers can now copy their own Paks, so they don’t have to start from scratch.

File Download Widget: Managers can now upload any file into MobilePaks and have it available for users to download.

Increased Security: MobilePaks has increased its security practices to further keep customers’ data safe, their interactions secure, and their businesses protected.

Rich-Text Editor: Managers can now update text inside of MobilePaks using a What-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editor. This makes creating meaningful content that much easier and faster.

“At MobilePaks, we put the user first in everything we architect, and everything else second. Our goal is to make inspiring, easy-to-use products that help employees achieve their full potential,” said Chanin Balance, CEO, MobilePaks. “For example, we believe that engaging sales reps with the right information, at the right time, is key to improving sales-marketing alignment, efficiency and bottom line results.”
