The decision to open a location in Westchester was due to customer demand for a quality, Kosher delicatessen in the area. The new, stand-alone restaurant will be among Ben’s largest locations, with a second-story catering space and a full bar. It will be the first Ben’s with a second-story catering venue and the second to have a full bar, after Manhattan.
The 5,700 square-foot space will have a different, more embellished menu than other Ben’s locations – with an extensive list of freshly made daily specials that will appeal to a broader customer base – in addition to the traditional Kosher deli fare that made Ben's famous. The Scarsdale restaurant will be the seventh incarnation of the renowned 40-year-old establishment, with three locations on Long Island and one each in Manhattan; Queens; and Boca Raton, FL.
