The Dermatology Alliance names Virginia Medical Director, Douglas C. Semler, MD

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- The Dermatology Alliance, an Independent Physician Association, today announces the appointment of Douglas C. Semler, MD to Medical Director for the State of Virginia.

“Dr. Semler has one of the fastest growing practices in the State of Virginia” said Robert E. Nevin, “and the Dermatology Alliance looks forward to growing with him.”

Dr. Semler http://www.semlerderm.com/ is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Semler earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his internship and dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Semler is a staff physician at INOVA Loudoun Hospital.
